The Last Hurrah

Sat Sep 5, 2009, 8:33 PM
Evening, folks. Long time, no journal post.

It's no secret I've stopped participating in this place. My page has served as a portal for my personal website and social media links for almost two years now. I don't even know how many of you even follow me here anymore.

In the past I've made it a point to establish a link here whenever I update my site as a convenience for the folks who might care. Well, I'm sorry to say, that's all going to stop. This will be my final journal post on dA. We had a good run, but it's time to take final bows and call for the curtain.

For anyone who came here looking for me, or my work, please visit my website: www.toddkeisling.com

I can be reached via email.

If social media is your thing, I'm on Twitter and Facebook.

For RSS subscribers, recent changes to my site have altered the feed link. Please re-subscribe here.

I wish you all the best of luck in whatever your endeavors may be. Thanks for following me over the years. The best is yet to come.

Sincerely,

TK

Oh look, more crap in a text box:

Mon Feb 11, 2008, 8:34 PM
A new blog is up at my site. I encourage all of my fellow writers to go read it and weigh in on the topic at hand, as it concerns a NY Times article about "lowbrow" genre writing, "highbrow" literary writing, and one author who thinks writing the former is a means of selling out. Go on. I'll wait.

The I SPY competition is still running. The deadline is the 29th. Everyone should enter. Yes, even you.

*underlit is a new group which I fully support. It's a no-frills, no-bullshit place, for serious discussion about writing and the like. These days, if you want to find me in real time, try #underlit. There's also going to be a little thing called "Underlit Radio" coming soon, the details of which will be revealed in the coming days.

GD Cat prompted more comments than any other journal I've ever had. It's had more face time on my journal than I have. I think I should've stuck its picture on the cover of ALT. It would be a million-seller by now.

In other news, I'm about 65% finished with this place.

'til next time,

TK
